Well the sport shows are winding down and I will finally get a little rest! I have been gone for about 45 days of promotional speaking on behalf of the sponsors across the country. Our tank business is staying extremely busy and the parents are traveling across the country as well. When my father and I started Blue Water Promotions back in 2000 we traveled a lot together. When I started fishing full time with BASS in 2003 I was competing back east when he was on the west coast! I miss those days of traveling.

I just finished another PET cancer scan and thank God we are all clean still. Almost 2 years has past since the ordeal. Talk about being fortunate and counting your blessings. Its amazing how attached you are to other cancer patients once you have gone through the disease. I enjoy hearing there stories and trying to keep them motivated through there tough times. To me that's what life is about, helping others when they need help. Life in general is great!

Its kind of weird not traveling full time with the Bassmaster trail this season. I have traveled with them for almost 9 full seasons. I miss a lot of my buddies but I sure don't miss being on the road for 300 + days. The horrible motels, food and traveling experiences. Not to say that I will never be back but for now I will enjoy filming, writing and speaking for this season. We have an extremely full plate to manage in a short amount of time, but rest assured we will complete the task hands down!
