Edwards to share his fishing expertise |
|
Much has transpired in the nearly dozen years since a 17-year-old high school student caught the Colorado-record, 11.6-pound largemouth bass from an obscure lake near Pagosa Springs.
A career as a sport-show lecturer. A whirlwind nine years on the Bassmasters tournament trail, including four on the Bassmasters Elite circuit. Appearances on all major sports networks and "ABC News World Tonight."
Marriage. A partnership with wife Rebecca in Edwards Entertainment, an HD outdoor production company. A partnership with father Jim in Blue Water Promotions, a leader in large demonstration tanks and kids' trout ponds. Host of "Jarrett Edwards Outdoors TV," a multispecies program aimed toward the western United States.
Cancer survivor.
Jarrett Edwards will bring all this to the stage this week at the International Sportsmen's Exposition at the Colorado Convention Center, the same event that launched his career as a national angling personality as a high school student growing up in Monte Vista.
First as an inspiration to the youth angling set, then as a full-blown bass professional, Edwards has emerged as Colorado's most renowned homegrown fishing celebrity. Complete Story |
